Planiqa is innovative software for project management. It enables the quick design of a complex work flow scheme for a project. The project planning scheme (GANTT) is calculated directly from the flow scheme. The flow scheme may comprise decisions, checklists and multiselect options. In dynamic mode, actual decisions made will influence the work flow and the tasks to be done - or later decisions to be made. Tasks may become relevant or irrelevant due to the decisions taken and will only show up in the plan scheme if relevant. The flow scheme may hold over 30 types of project steps: tasks, decisions, reports, e-mails, appointments, and more. The planscheme and flow scheme windows for a project can be shown side-by-side. If a project step is clicked in the GANTT chart or in the flow scheme, it is also marked in the other window. This makes it easy to see where you are in the project. Right-clicking an item in the planscheme opens a pop-up menu for various functions: set a task delay, view task dependencies, set appointments, set document links, set background information for that step, and more. Right-clicking in a certain week enables you to block that week from the project. After setting your HR resources you can you can assign a project team for each project and plan hours for each team member for each project step. By setting the hourly rates (cost per hour) for each team member a project cost estimate is done at the push of a button. Later planning changes, even team changes, are easy. Next, a project report (MS Word, RTF or HTML) holding all the relevant data in the project is made easily by Freeproject. You can copy flow schemes and plan schemes to the clipboard, which can then e.g. be copied to other documents or your own project report. The powerful functionality in Freeproject puts you in control of dozens of projects (- or even hundreds in the higher versions) and lets you optimize the assignment of team member capacity.
